As summer gets closer and closer we wanted to give you a one-stop read to find some great resources for you to refer to over the summer when you have a bit more time on your hands to maybe dive into a few things you had on your list during the school year.
We want you to be able to be connected to those experts in the field that you can follow and subscribe to ensuring that you’re receiving the best solutions! Plus, EdTech is everywhere and there are countless options for incorporating it into your classroom, but HOW to do it takes a bit more time.
If you find an organization or company website that you like, don’t forget to see if you can subscribe to their newsletter, follow them on Facebook or Twitter, etc. Nearly all organizations and companies have a way to stay in touch so you don’t have to do all the work searching… it can come straight to you! You can usually find the icons in the top right corner or the bottom banner of a website – or under a About Us, Contact or Connect tab in the main menu bar.
16 Websites EVERY Teachers Should Know About – These websites hold a TON of resources, activities, lesson plans, printables for students, teachers and parents. All great sites to subscribe to or bookmark for easy reference when searching for new material.
32 Great Educational Websites for Teachers – This breaks down websites for specific content areas including Science, Math, ELA, History, Arts, Physics, Music and Social Studies.
14 TED Talk LISTS! (Technology, Entertainment, Design) – All the lists combined gives you nearly 100 videos! Although a couple of the links are broken, the majority work and are still fabulous and worth watching. You’ll need to make sure you’ve enabled Adobe Flash to run videos.
